Mixing Business with Pleasure

Wordless Wednesday: Super Snowman

on February 20, 2013

We’re back from a relaxing long weekend in northern Michigan ski country. I’ll share more details on that soon, but wanted to get this photo of what we saw Up North in a field posted sooner. We had no choice but to stop, turn around and trudge through the snow to take pictures of this guy. His buttons are 5-gallon pails.

Giant snowman up north northern michigan

Can you believe the size of this guy?

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen along the road when you were traveling?

UPDATE: Read the comments below to find out what was used to make the snowman’s hat and eyes!

I can’t even imagine how long that took to build. How cool!

Wow! We are glad you like this! Our family built it in 2 days. The hat is a half of a 55 gallon barrell and the eyes are coffee cans haha. We love putting smiles on everyones faces as they go by!!!

Kayla, Thanks for stopping by! The snowman is awesome. We couldn’t help but turn around and stop to take pictures when we saw him, and could see that we weren’t the first – there’s a path of footprints down to the big guy from the road! :) Do you make one every year?
